Advanced Certificate of Pastoral Ministry
The purpose of this certificate is to help you to continue to grow in your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and serving as a Pastor. The Biblical principles you learn will need to be Applied First to your own life.
This Advanced Certificate Builds off of the First certificate we offer.
It is designed to teach you to apply the scriptures to problems. The goal is to teach you to think Biblically about people and their problems and to function as an Ambassador of Christ as you speak His life giving word into others. Each student will be required to complete the 21 hours of coursework before we will grant this certificate.
Seven 3-Hour Courses constitute 21 Hours that are needed for this certificate.
Curriculum/Syllabus:
Each student is required to Thoroughly Read each book listed below. Each book Completed is considered a (One 3-Hour Course).
After each book is read, you need to write a 8 to 10 page paper for each book. In each paper we want you to:
1. List the valuable truths found in each book.
2. Tell us how you will use these truths in your ministry to others.
3. How has this material impacted your walk with the Lord?
Each paper is to be typed with no grammatical errors. Size 14 font is required. We encourage you to take notes just as if the author was speaking to you what was written in the book. Use a highlighter and highlite or underline the truths that stick out to you as you do your reading. Think about what's being taught.
Once your papers are completed you may mail them or E-Mail them to us for grading. A minimum grade level of "C" is required to pass each course.
